About Me

I founded BullsEyeResumes.com in 2001.

At the time, I realized that professional resume writing and job search services catered overwhelmingly to corporate executives who were able to pay high fees.  As a new immigrant navigating the workplace, I believed it to be the case that everyday, working people also needed professional resume writing/interview coaching services.

BullsEyeResumes.com was providing relevant, affordable services for anyone wanting to enhance their lives through meaningful work, professional development and education. Through BullsEyeResumes/BullsEyeCareers we worked with:
-High School students/grads
-Skilled/Hourly Workers
-Career ReEntry workers
-College students/grads
-Vocational students/grads

What we did:
We offered free resume critiques for a dozen years and generously shared lots of free advice and even wrote numerous resumes without fees. As I learned, I shared. Since I always worked full time myself, BullsEye was not a source of income for me; but it was a source of pride.  An almost totally volunteer mission that I am glad to say helped hundreds of people put their best foot forward in the job search and get on the right career path.

We were the only resume writing service that asked people to bid for services what they could pay through our website.

I established The HBCU Career Center in 2007 years ago to specifically meet the needs of diverse current or emerging professionals be they college students, alumni and staff of America's 104 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).

We will continue to build on what we have done for the last 13 years - writing, training and coaching on career, workplace, employment and human resources issues in support of the professional development of diverse audiences often not represented.
